Drop-in Golf
It’s time for another season of Wednesday night golf at Blackberry Farms Golf Course in Cupertino ! The EGGs (Employed Girls Golf) season starts soon. The first night of play is Wednesday, March 12th.
Our beginning tee time of 5:00PM remains unchanged. We will once again follow another league and tee off as soon as they clear their last team from the first tee box. Tee times of 5:00, 5:08, 5:16 and 5:24 will be held for us (assuming we are able to fill them each week).
As before, you are invited to sign up for a tee time as you arrive at the course. We will continue using an informal sign-up scheme where teams form as people arrive. Or, if you’d prefer, you may book a specific tee time one week in advance.
We will also carry forward the practice of collecting a $1.00 merchandise fee each week to be used as award money at the end of the season. As before, the awards will be gift certificates redeemable only at the Blackberry Farms Pro Shop.
The nine-hole green fee price is $14.00 for non-residents and $12.00 for residents, with ID. No discounts will be given for seniors or juniors. (The $1.00 merchandise fee will be added to the league green fee. The City of Cupertino administers the green fee prices, and they are subject to change at the City's discretion.)
For your convenience, the pro shop offers a 10-play Quick Pass. This gives you a chance to pay for 10 rounds in advance at a 10% discount. This Quick Pass is punched each week you play, and the additional $1.00 merchandise fee is also collected at that time. Purchase of a Quick Pass is entirely optional.
This year’s season runs from Wednesday, March 12th through Wednesday, October 15th. The no host end-of-season banquet dinner will be held in late October at a place yet to be determined.
So dust off your clubs, scrub up those shoes and get out Wednesday nights for a fun round of golf!
